Where does noise come from on the Dante network?

Hello, I am receiving 30 channels with an iMac via the network card and Virtual Soundcard that I want to record in Pro Tools. Everything works in principle, but I get a short noise at irregular intervals (3-5 minutes) on all channels. The resolution is 48 KHz 24 bit. Can this be due to the cable length? 50m Cat5e, or does anyone have an idea? Thanks a lot, Klaus

Can you describe the noise in more detail? Since Dante actually works digitally and cannot capture any interference noise, I would look on the other side. In other words, at the microphones or at the feed point. Also check whether you are using filters or something similar.

Another source of error could be wordclock. Set everything to the appropriate clock. Or the Dante Card as clock master.
