Clickshare CSE-200 is constantly red, not responding?

Hi there,

I use a Barco ClickShare CSE-200. Overnight can suddenly no longer be established connection.

The base unit is constantly red and the "plugs" no longer connect to the base unit. It also does not show the home screen via HDMI.

The trick to reset the base unit to factory settings does not work. The unit does not respond to the reset button (even after holding it for 1 min and unplugging and plugging in the power supply first).

Does anyone have any other way to get the product back up and running?

Greetings and thanks in advance

Dear Deni,

if the reset didn't work out, unfortunately there is no other way to reset the base unit. In this case I would recommend to contact the dealer/distributer you bought this unit from. If this unit is still in warranty (you can check this with the serial number here: https://www.barco.com/en/support/warranty), you will get a new one.

If the unit is no longer in warranty, you have the possibility to swap this unit into a new model (C-10 for example) via the trade-in program from Barco:

https://www.barco.com/en/clickshare/trade-in

Hope this information helps!

Hello,

interesting. I have just the same problem since last thursday. My Barco is still in warranty, but it is impossible to get contact to barco. My reseller sais, I should open a ticket directly at the barco-page, but I got no access to the ticket portal since now. Complety annoing. But interesting, that I am not the only one with the same problem at the same time.

Greetings!

I talked to BARCO Support. They said this issue is caused by an expired Certificate.
TO FIX:
Unplug the HDMI Cable to the receiver
Power-up Barco Receiver
Once the power light is solid
Go to a PC and Connect to the Click share device via WIFI (whatever you named that device or Serial# name is default)
Wifi Password is clickshare
Once connected to the device via WIFI open a Chome Browser and go to 192.168.2.1
This will take you to the configuration WEB UI. Login. Default is admin/admin
If you reset the device you'll have to complete the initial setups screens
Then you'll have the configuration screens you need.
Go to the Firmware/Systems menu
Upgrade the device using v1.12 firmware file on (Have this firmware file on the PC and unzipped)
Once it's uploads and applies the ClickShare device will reboot and be back to normal.
Complete and additional update/customizations you need to.

FIX:
Unplug power and HDMI cable from Barco receiver.
Perform the RESET on the device. Holding in the reset Button and Plug power back into device and continue to hold the reset until the power button on the front flashes Red/White then release reset button.
Once the device powers back up and power button stops flashing
Go to a PC and connect to the Barco receiver via WIFI. It will have an SSID of ClickShare- Serial#
Connect your PC to that SSID password is clickshare
Once your connect to the Barco's wifi SSID Open a Chrome Browser and go to 192.168.2.1
This will open the Configuration Login page. Default login is admin/admin if you reset your device (step 2)
Once you login you will have to complete the initial setup screens
After those have been completed the page will reload with the standard configuration WEBIU
Select the System/Updates on the left side make sure you have the latest firmware 1.12 downloaded to that PC and unzipped .enc file.
Proceed with the firmware upgrade from these screens.
Once the firmware is uploaded to the device it will install and reboot the device.
After reboot the Barco receiver should boot up normally and you can put your customized setting back.
