Reverberating/muffled sound recording?

Unfortunately, it echoes and sounds "dull" to the receivers as soon as our microphone is activated. No matter what video conferencing software you use, and it has been tested on different systems. The latest hardware firmware is installed. Internal test ran several times with the same result. Unfortunately there are no functions like "echo suppression" or similar in the Windows10 sound settings.

It is really very uncomfortable to listen to this.

Devices like the Logitech Group or Rally do not have sound settings. The "echo cancellation" is permanently active and the sound setting is adjusted for video conferences. Problems with reverberant sound are usually due to poor room acoustics. If your room already sounds reverberant by itself, not even a more expensive conference system will help. If you are too far away from the microphone, the problem is even worse.
