How do I stop the image from flickering?

The camera is connected via a USB extension and the image flickers. When not on the extension it works fine.

The flickering comes from the extension cable. Try to keep the cable as short as possible and use high quality cables.

Since the Rally camera is also USB 2.0 backwards compatible and USB 2.0 has much lower data rates, it might be advantageous to use an active USB 2.0 cable for long distances. However, 4K is then no longer possible, although this does not matter for most video conferencing applications.
