Hello everyone!My question is :Is it possible that ETS6 can be activated by local supplier with one "dongle" for multiple KNX-compatible devices ?Or is it only possible to activate ETS6 with softkey licences for each KNX device ?Thank you for your answers !

KNX Association has developed two different license types for ETS6:

The ETS6 Cloud License:
a connection to the KNX Cloud is set up to activate ETS6 on a PC (an internet connection is permanently required).
2 The ETS6 Dongle License:
An ETS6 hardware dongle is required to work with the ETS6 license on a PC

> Both license types are PC-independent.

In general:

You can only ever choose one license type for an ETS6 license, i.e. the license you order is either a cloud OR a dongle license. If you want both license types, you must order two ETS6 licenses: One ETS6 Cloud license and one ETS6 Dongle license > then you would have both license types > for two users.

Cloud

In short:

open ETS6 on any PC
Enter your MyKNX credentials to start your session
KNX Cloud checks the validity of your ETS6 license
Session is open

If you change the PC

First log out of your previous session and close ETS6
close - enter your MyKNX credentials on the other PC to open your new session
KNX Cloud checks the validity of your ETS6 license
Session is opened
