LogitechRecording sound with WinXP recorder on Win10/Win7 results in recording strange wave-like sound effects. Before the last Win10 update I managed to get clear sound by some complex process I will tell if you are interested. But now i if I execute that process the record button is faided out.
According to the problem description, it could be a software problem. Try another recording program like OBS Studio or Audacity. Always check within the programs if the correct recording device is selected.
