Issue Presenting over HDMI with Logitech TAP Room system running Microsoft Teams?

on the TAP i have a "present" button - which has been pressed. a Message on one of the screens reads "Please Plug the HDMI cable into your device".

and when i connect computer it doesn't dectect anything

There are several possibilities for this description.

  • You can use the Windows shortcut "WinKey + P" to select whether your screen should be mirrored or extended.
  • You should then take a look at the cable. If there is damage or a cable break, you should replace the cable directly.
  • It is also possible that there is a loose contact on the cable or the connection. Therefore, move the cable carefully back and forth and check if you get a picture.
  • Also check the connection on the laptop to make sure it is not defective.

If it is an Android device (Rally Bar), it could also be that the screen to be displayed does not provide the correct resolution. This was the case for us.
