Why is my Tap Screen Blank?

My company uses a Logi Rally system for their sales conference room. A few months ago, the Logi Tap that they use to control the system went blank. It was replaced under warranty (fastest fix so the users could continue the system's use,) but I still have the old one and I'd like to see if I can get it working - the rest of the Rally system is operating as it should. The touch and backlight are operating correctly, as is the speaker and motion sensor. The only function not working is the display (the most important, of course.)The device is on firmware version 1.29, which is the latest version according to Sync. Could this indeed be a hardware failure. I would attempt to open it but my currently available toolset does not contain a tip long enough to access the screws under the bottom plate.
Thank you to any help offered.

If the installation is done correctly and there is no other picture, there is probably a hardware defect. If you don't have a tool, you can buy one. However, as there are currently no spare parts available, you cannot simply replace a component and it will work again. Nevertheless, you can open the TAP and check whether a cable has come loose.
